What is Moto Trials?

You've never seen or heard of it? Had a friend who rode Observed Trials, but never really took notice of them? Observed Trials became known as Moto Trials and is a clean safe sport for all the family.

Several motorcycle clubs in South Australia organise Moto Trials around the country areas of Adelaide, ranging from Clare and The Barossa Valley to Mount Torrens and Victor Harbor. Moto Trials is a winter sport whose season runs from approximately April to October. During this time 9 to 14 events are held on private properties. All grades and styles of riding are catered for in Moto Trials, with ages ranging from twelve to seventy plus years. Check out the calendar to see what's coming up.

Unlike other motorcycle sports where it is an advantage to have a late model bike, in Moto Trials a 15 year old bike costing around $3,000 can still be competitive in the introductory grades. Check out the Classifieds to see if there is a bike to suit you available.

Costs of Moto Trials are very low, due to minimal maintenance requirements. It is by far the cheapest form of motorcycling.

Come along to a club meeting and have a chat with some of the members. Meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of the month at Motorcycling South Australia, 251 The Parade, Beulah Park starting at 7:30 pm.

Regular coaching days are held to assist new riders and the not so new improve their skills.
